Was established in 1994,as one of the very first private Israeli exporters of cut flowers. Until the late 90s, export of flowers from Israel was heavily restricted and regulated by the government and the company was one of the first private players to pave the way to free competition in the sector.

The fruit and vegetable department is a Flowers Direct/Agriver subsidiary that deals in the export of fruits and vegetables. The Fruit and Vegetable department is exporting strawberries, fresh cut herbs, figs, organic peppers & tomatoes, regular peppers, cherry tomatoes, citrus and sweet potatoes to several countries worldwide. All growers supplying strawberries, fresh cut herb and peppers are euregap audited and accredited.

Flowers Direct/Agriver has expanded its supply base by establishing buying offices in countries where the supply of flowers , fruit and vegetables are available in the Israeli off-season. Furthermore other products that are grown in these countries, which are in demand by Flowers Direct/Agriver's customer base are being procured from South Africa, South America, Turkey, Ethiopia, Kenya , the U.S.A and Holland.
