Designed with an eye on the environment, Dust-Tainer marks a new generation of FIBCs, providing an eco-friendly solution for the disposal of waste dust.
"One of the increasingly important uses for FIBCs in the marketplace is the disposal of waste dust generated from foundry, refractory, and other such operations," commented Ernie Giordano, Berry Plastics' marketing manager for FIBCs. He noted that the Dust-Tainer is the first bag to provide an effective, innovative solution to containing and disposing of waste dust. The secret, Giordano said, is in the one-of-a-kind zipper.
"That is Dust-Tainer's key differentiator," Giordano confirmed. "Once the Dust-Tainer is zippered and tied shut, waste dust is fully contained in the bag, greatly reducing the amount blown into the air. This is a tremendous boost to the environmental concerns that accompany waste dust disposal."
The exclusive zipper design also provides access to the big bag while it is being filled, which allows the bag to be unzipped so its contents can be raked and flattened during the process.
"This allows for the interior space of the Dust-Tainer FIBC to be fully maximized," Giordano said. "That results in fewer bags being carted-off and eliminates wasted space."
