Cambridge Who's Who Recognizes Charles Bryan Streaker Sr. for Excellence in Agriculture

/Farming News Articles/ - Westminster, MD, April 5, 2008, Charles Bryan Streaker Sr., field assistant for Larriland Farms and former owner of Cedar Lane Farms, Ltd., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of farming.

Mr. Streaker has an impressive 34 year background in agriculture and farming. Through his 10 year career in sales at Westminster Tractor Supply, Mr. Streaker developed a keen understanding of various agricultural instruments and tools. He is also the former owner of Cedar Lane Farms Ltd., a 70-acre farm that produces hay and corn. Now Mr. Streaker brings his expertise to Larriland Farms, a 300-acre farm offering various fruits and pumpkins.

In 1967, Streaker received his bachelor of science in dairy technology with a minor in business from the University of Maryland College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He has undergone pesticide and chemical training through the Maryland Health Department and the United States Air Force. He has also completed numerous Maryland State Health Department training courses. Streaker is a member of the Maryland Farm Bureau and acted as the director of the Howard County Farm Bureau from 2005 to 2007.
