Patrick Mailer-Howat has over 30 years of experience working in the major agro-industries and financial markets in Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in Brazil. The Vita Bio Group, is global, serving clients seeking to make strategic investments in agriculture and biomass energy production in Brazil; a growing region of the world that is best endowed to meet the increasing global demands for food and sustainable renewable energy. Mr. Mailer-Howat is responsible for managing and implementing the Vita Bio Group's strategic plan, working closely with investors and business unit managing directors. He began his career in 1976 as a commodities trader in London, at J. H. Raynors Limited, and has since worked and lived throughout many parts of the Americas, Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. His career includes extensive work in tropical commodities, vegetable oils and grains, as well as trade and project finance. He attributes his success to his integrity and perseverance.

Mr. Patrick Mailer-Howat graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in England and was commissioned into the Scots Guards. He has a Post Graduate Degree in Finance from Baruch College and is a Certified Financial Analyst. He is a member of the Private Equity Association and in his free time, he enjoys to garden, play golf and hang out with his family.
