Phyllis Ann Mehrten-Means to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Phyllis Ann Mehrten-Means honored for 30 years of enlightening young minds
EXETER, CA, June 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Phyllis Ann Mehrten-Means, Retired Teacher, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.
Throughout her 30-year career, Ms. Mehrten-Means worked with kindergarten through sixth-grade gifted and talented students. She also taught science to first- through fifth-grade students. She is a fourth generation cattle rancher and grows organic walnuts. Her grandmother was a teacher, and she attributes her success to the values of her family.
Ms. Mehrten-Means received her Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fresno in 1966 and won the International First Place Award for Program Coordination from Parents Without Partners, Inc. and was a Boy Scout leader.
