B. Mark Wilson continues his family legacy at Legacy Farms

SMYRNA, DE, October 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- B. Mark Wilson, Partner of Legacy Farms, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in agricultural management.

Since its inception in 1975, Legacy Farms has proven to be just that - a legacy. Founded by B. Mark Wilson's father, it has stayed in the family for more than three decades. Today B. Wilson manages the grain crops farm with his brother, responsible for supervising a crew of 10, handling finances and maintaining the infrastructure. Mr. Wilson also forges public relations, markets his products and sells crops to agricultural distributors. Currently, Mr. Wilson maintains an agreement with Monsanto Company for corn and soy bean seed sales.

In his December interview with Cambridge Publishing, Mr. Wilson noted that he became involved in farming through his lifelong interest in the agricultural field. Today, he credits his success to hard work, dedication and determination. A certified crop advisor, he also serves as treasurer for the St. Joseph Foundation at Providence Creek. As he moves forward, Mr. Wilson will look to experience professional growth and help to expand the farm and its presence in the agriculture industry.
