Cotulla, TX, April 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dorothy M. Kinsel, President of Kinsel Cattle Co., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in ranching.
Dorothy M. Kinsel has 58 years of ranching experience in La Salle and Webb Counties, where she is involved in promoting and selling beef, paying monthly ranch bills and serving as the co-owner of a feed lot. She also ensures the proper licensure of all trucks and trailers involved in a cow/calf and a steer operation. Her son Dan is ranch manager of Kinsel Cattle Co., and both Dan and her other son Karl, manage white tail deer leases. The highlight of her career was owning a ranch and cattle business in Durango, Mexico for 18 years.
Ms. Kinsel received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 1951. She is an Alumni Board Member of Texas Woman's University and a member of the South Texas Chapter of Texas CattleWomen, the Texas Deer Association, the Texas Wildlife Association and the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs. She has been recognized with the South Texas CattleWoman of the Year Award by the South Texas Chapter of Texas CattleWomen and a Service Award from Texas Woman's University. She attends conventions organized by the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association in order to keep up with new developments in property issues and ranching. She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Cotulla, TX, and counts the South Texas Chapter of Texas CattleWomen and the American Legion Auxiliary among her favorite organizations.
