Susan Daniel Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Susan Daniel is a member of New Entry Sustainable Farming Project
WESTFORD, MA, April 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Susan Daniel, Clinical Herbalist and Organic Farmer for the Herb An Chicks Farm Project, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in agricultural management.
Ms. Daniel is a graduate of the advanced training apprenticeship of the Boston School of Herbal Studies. In 2006, she received her herbal certification from Jim Jenks and began providing individual consultations and group herbal workshops.
As a leader in agricultural education, Ms. Daniel is responsible for managing a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm and educating consumers about whole food based nutrition. She conducts workshops for kids of all ages emphasizing medicinal and nutritive value of herbs and integrity of caring for at risk herbs and vegetative plants. She offers hands-on experience by assisting schools and communities, as well as residential backyards with planning, implementing and growing gardens.
Previously, Ms. Daniel earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University. The recipient of a research award from the United States Department of Education, she is a member of the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project, American Herbalist Guild, and United Plant Savers. Ms. Daniel supports Heifer Project and Habitat for Humanity International. In the future, she hopes to expand her business and share her products and services with a larger group of people. The goal of Herb An Chicks Farm Project is to offer education in an open environment that feeds children, families, and our spirit with the abundance that the Green Goddess provides.
